Dispatchers are receiving multiple emails through case management daily from truckers requesting updates on charges pending. Searching for all relevant FROs using an indicator such as BOL in Supplier connect to populate ALL current charges elected by trucker would eliminate potential for error of information sharing with trucker, and reduce work time needed to respond to inquiries. |
How frequently would you use this improvement? |
Very often. TMS will not replace qualitative systems like case management and vendors have 90 days to arrange or requests additional charges on a FRO. Dispatchers frequently rely on information received via email and work to cross reference this with what is housed in other systems, like Supplier Connect and TMS. |
How should it work? |
The feature would enable dispatchers in Supplier Connect to search multiple FROs for pending accessorial charges. As of right now if we need to view charges elected by trucker in Supplier Connect, we can only search and view one FRO at a time. Can we have a feature that enables us to search multiple FROs at a time to view charges elected by carrier in SC? |
Hi Emily, let's start with a new design for the vendors to see charges that are either in accepted status or still pending on SC. We're working on a new design for NAM and I have invited you to a design review, Friday 16 August. After that we can discuss if it covers your requirement.
