Approval workflow platform with push notifications to the assigned approver

What impact would it have on your daily tasks in terms of time saving or cost reduction?

  1. Automated notifications without the need to check/refresh TMS screens every time.

  2. Efficiency through:
    - less manual effort by dispatcher
    - quick approval cycle
    - less communication between Inland & procurement

  3. auto escalation/re-assignment to another approver in case the request is not decided on after a specific time i.e. 1-2 days to ensure no impact on operations.

  4. Improve the automation performance by adding additional one or two questions in the request box to have more details on the root causes and the actions being taken to avoid the manual change in the future.

How frequently would you use this improvement?

Whenever a manual rate or vendor change is required.

How should it work?

  1. Dispatcher submits the change request in TMS.

  2. TMS to send an automated notification via e-mail & Teams to the pre-defined approver from Procurement as per the area/country preference for lanes/vendor/etc...

  3. Procurement to view all details on e-mail/Teams, and decide...

  4. Once decided, TMS to perform the approved change and the requester to receive the confirmation message.

  5. TMS to store all the details for further analysis and root cause eliminations.

    Hey @Guest , I understand there is a dedicated UI workstream to implement the concept "Platform will pull the dispatcher to the action" rather "Dispatcher finding the action/what to do in the platform". I am assigning to my colleague Paul to share the next steps
