Being able to use the FRO number in COMET would save the time of searching for the FRO in SAP TMS, searching for the container or booking number in TMS, copying it to COMET and then check there. |
How frequently would you use this improvement? |
Everytime someone would need to check something in COMET from dispatcher side, they would mostly have the FRO at hand as this is the main number that is communicated from truckers and internally. |
How should it work? |
In the COMET search bar, user should be able to enter the FRO number and get a search result on the corresponding container. |
Thank you Elisabeth and Yannick. And fully agreed. Nothing, though in the short term as this is a major change in the overall data flow between Landside and Ocean systems. We will keep it as future consideration
The idea is super helpful to track all container movements for Intermodal colleagues, as this way is avoiding additional work for them.
