BLT cost and distribution

We have discussed the requirement with the FPO's.The requirement is not in line with the agreed global process .

Distribution of the cost is automated across the FRO both for laden and Empty repositioning orders

Block train global process as below

• Blocktrain schedule will be filled by the system/dispatchers with both Loaded and Empty Containers

• FROs are sent to the vendor indicating when “we” would like the containers to be railed

• After each departure, the vendor sends us a departure list confirming which containers/FROs have gone on the train

• We crosscheck our FRO list and the vendor’s in order to adjust any discrepancies

• Once the FROs on the schedule are correct (some removed and some added), we distribute the unutilised costs on ALL (Empty and Full) the FROs that departed

• Once the cost distribution is complete, the system will remove the FSD block and create the FSD per FRO

as required by Krishna please note in details italy requirements :

Our idea is to create new Cost assignment for BLT as below:

1. Fix Empty cost

2. Fix Full cost

3. 1 fro rail 1 fro road for any Container unit as it is now

4. fro ship on board list via supplier portal by vendor therefore assigned to correct schedule by sap in automated way

5. Unused block train cost should be automatically added to FULL FRO

6. Avoid assign and cost distribution task in sap tm

Based on actual volumes 6 trains (64 teus at train) estimated impact
